Miami is so much more…

When most of the people hear about Miami, the first things that come to their minds are beaches, parties and shopping.

However, Miami is at an important time of economic growth, and great changes are happening thanks to the support of companies and organizations from different fields that are making this possible.

In the cultural area, we can mention Art Basel, MOCA Museum of Modern Art, Spanish Cultural Institute CCE Miami, HistoryMuseum ,City Ballet, The New World Center, among others.

In the professional industry, the Miami Dade County, FIU, Miami Dade College, The Lab Miami, Refresh Miami, Knight Foundation, and the various Chambers of Commerce, to only name a few actors of the industry.

Entities such as the Sciences Museum, the Zoo of Miami and natural parks, that support Science and Ecology, are contributing to the awakening of an ecological consciousness and awareness among the youth.

Also there is a new wave of thinking that looks to get people out into the streets: walking is now an option; supported by the extension of free or low fare public transportation as Downtown and Brickell’s MetroMover, Trolleys, public bicycles in Miami Beach as well as several options offered by some musems to discover the Art Deco neighborhood, Wynwood Walls, gastonomic themes guides, Guide Rio Miami, etc.

These changes initiate a sense of belonging to the city of Miami, that is making people not only live in the city but also be part of it and enjoying everything it has to offer.

I’M MIAMI saw this big change and wants to join to make this possible by promoting and advertising high-level events in terms of content and production, grouping them into the following categories: Culture, Business and Lifestyle.

Each week, the I’M MIAMI team promotes the best cutural activities offered by museums an art galleries as well as the most important conferences or networking events offered by the different chambers of commerce, this without forgetting about the events that make this city unique in terms of fun and lifestyle!
